FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in checking periodically the vane critical zones and determining chances of their further operation. Said critical zones are checked up on removing heat-resistant coat from their surface by conditioning, removing alloy replica to analyse it structure. Chances of further operation are defined by comparison of '-phase particles and those of topologically dense â-phase with optimum values in alloy structure: for '-phase - to 0.9 mcm and for â-phase - to 3-4%. ^ EFFECT: longer vane life without dismantling turbine rotor. ^ 1 tbl
