<p>The hinge (100) for a door or window leaf has wings with mounting plates (10-12) which are shaped to engage in corresponding grooves (7) in the profiled framer and leaf members (1,3). The mounting plates are locked in place by fixing screws (15) which pretension the plates to cause a clamping effect. The screws can be conical head screws which cause plastic deformation of the grooves.</p> |
