The device has a sound hose (10) for conducting sound or electric signals in an ear canal, and a plug (12) for detachable connection of an end (24) of the sound hose and a flexible ear piece (14). The end of the sound hose and an attachment region (26) of the plug are overmolded commonly with resilient material of a support (15) or welded with one another. The plug is partially made of rigid material such as metal or a hard plastic i.e. polyetheretherketone, where the resilient material and the rigid material are identical. The sound hose and the plug are connected together. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a guiding device.
