PURPOSE: A method and a system for detecting leakage by using a camera image are provided to help a user to easily find out a leakage position which is not easily visually distinguished through camera image. CONSTITUTION: In a method and a system for detecting leakage by using a camera image, an image collection unit(100) obtains the image signal of an object in which high temperature and pressure is generated. An edge detection unit(200) detects an image signal edge before and after leakage generation. A comparison unit(300) detects only leakage image edge by obtaining the difference of an image signal edge before and after. A display unit(500) is connected to the comparison unit and displays the leakage image signal.
