PURPOSE: A control method of an airbag control unit is provided to easily manage the history of airbag control unit and airbag electric device by communicating with the airbag electric device and storing the history information. CONSTITUTION: The control method of an airbag control unit comprises the following steps. The airbag control unit communicates with the airbag electric device and stores the history of the device(S102, S104). The identity of the history information of the device and history information stored in the first memory space is determined(S106). If the history information of the device and history information are not same, the history information of the device is stored in the second memory space(S110).
