This document describes a method for the management and remote supervision of at least one telecommunication device (DV1,DV2,DV3) through an SNMP management system (MG) and at least one SNMP management agent (AG_1,AG_2). The method comprises the steps of:
a) providing an MIB database (MB1, MB2) accessible by said SNMP management agent (AG_1, AG_2), including a first subset (C1, C23) of data fields suitable for containing configuration information of said telecommunication device (DV1, DV2, DV3);
b) sending (F1) from said SNMP management system (MG) to said SNMP management agent (AG_1, AG_2) a configuration command signal (sg_1) of said telecommunication device and based upon said configuration command updating corresponding configuration information in said first subset of datafields;
c) transmitting (F4) a signal (Sg_3) from said SNMP management agent (AG_1, AG_2) to said telecommunication device (DV1, DV2, DV3) to carry out said configuration command. |
