The device (30) has a radio receiver and transmitter (32) for determining a proper position, and an optical sensor system (38) for determining a trace. A computing unit (31), controllers (33, 35), movable parts (34), a marking unit (36) and a memory (37) perform premarking of floor marking based on the position, the trace and a predetermined parameter by a desired position of premarking by an optical signal i.e. laser signal. The computing unit is connected with the radio receiver and transmitter and controls the marking unit by one of the controllers.
