PURPOSE: A primer for gene test to diagnosing Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum causing malaria is provided to enable simultaneous detection. CONSTITUTION: A method for gene test of Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum for diagnosing malaria comprises: a step of isolating DNA from blood or blood paper analyte; a step of amplifying real time PCR using a primer set; and a step of performing melting curve analysis of the gene amplified product. The primer is selected from the group consisting of sequence numbers 1-5. The primer pair contains primers selected from the group consisting of sequence numbers 6-9.
