PURPOSE: A map display method of a navigation device and a navigation device using the same are provided to prevent distortion of data which is displayed on a screen while quickly displaying a map. CONSTITUTION: The length and breadth dot pitch of a display pixel is obtained(S210). First accumulation data used in displaying a map is extracted(S212). Longitude and latitude values corresponding to the shortest distance of a dot pitch are calculated from the first accumulation data(S214).
