PURPOSE: An iron rod is provided to enable a user to safely exercise on the iron rod, and to prevent the safety accident by forming the iron rod with a combination structure having the safety and durability. CONSTITUTION: An iron rod comprises the following: two perpendicular posts(10); and an elastic member(70) installed on both connection portion of a transverse bar(20) for offering the elastic force to the upward and downward direction of the transverse bar. The elastic member is mounted inside the upper side of the posts, and supports the lower end of the transverse bar.
