PURPOSE: An air conditioning device for a vehicle is provided to inform a user of unnecessary operation of an air conditioner when the air conditioner operates even if there is no foggy condition on window glass. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning device for a vehicle comprises a window-glass determining unit(40) and a control unit(50). The window-glass determining unit outputs a signal(A1) by determining whether fog or frost appears on the window glass. If the air conditioning device is in a defrosting mode or in a mixing mode, the control unit informs a passenger of the unnecessary operation of an air conditioner by blinking light representing the operation state of a switch(28) by determining that the air conditioner should not be operated, if a signal corresponding to a frost forming condition is input from the window-glass determining unit. |
