PURPOSE: A one-component room-temperature drying type water-soluble top coating composition is provided to form a strong film with excellent weather resistance, antifouling property, and flexibility compared with existing oily acrylic paints. CONSTITUTION: A one-component room-temperature drying type water-soluble top coating composition comprises 40-60 weight% of organic/inorganic copolymer emulsions, 5-20 weight% of extender pigments, 1-20 weight% of color pigments, 3-10 weight% of film-forming agents, and 5-40 weight% of water. The organic/inorganic copolymer emulsion is an aqueous emulsion resin including an acrylic monomer and a monomer containing an alkoxy silyl group or epoxy silyl group. The acrylic monomer is selected from methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate, cyclohexane methacrylate, methacrylic acid, and mixture thereof. |
