PURPOSE: An Ethernet switch is provided to prevent a collision of an PHY address between various PHY chips. CONSTITUTION: An Ethernet switch(100) includes a switch fabric(110), a plurality of PHY chips(130a~130d), and a demux. A plurality of PHY chips is connected to a fixed address with the switch fabric. To enable a bidirectional data communication, the demux is connected to a selected one among an MDIO of a PHY chips collided to an address among the PHY chips. |
