The method involves forming plastic sheets (6, 9) at temperature to drive fusion with an interface between the two plastic sheets, where one plastic sheet (9) is charged with corrosion inhibitor additive (8) and another plastic sheet (6) is composed of plastic material e.g. styrenic plastic or a mixture of styrenic plastic and family of polyethylene. The two plastic sheets are laminated on one another based on pressure and temperature to define thickness of a thermoformable composite material (1). The composite material is cut into sheets (S3B). The corrosion inhibitor additive is a mixture of amide and nitrite. An independent claim is also included for a thermoformable composite material. |
