<p>The method involves determining optimized shape of a tail cone (2) to obtain goals of an airplane (AC), for a given flight envelope. Loads subjected by the optimized shape are evaluated for a flight point of the envelope. Tail cone structure modelization representing the optimized shape is realized. Deformations (D1-D4) of the tail cone under the effect of loads to the point, are calculated. Tool shape is determined to obtain the tail cone corresponding to the optimized shape, during flight. An impression and/or display unit is allowed to provide determined tool shape to an operator. The goals are chosen from a group comprising performance, load, cost, maintenance and drivability. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a tool (2) a system for manufacturing a tool utilized for fabricating a tail cone of an airplane, comprising a tools shape determining device.</p> |
