SYNTHETIC FIBER COMPOSITION CONTAINING HYDROTALCITE

PURPOSE: A synthetic fiber composition is provided to improve chlorine resistance and to prevent discoloration. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic fiber composition has a spandex fiber containing hydrotalcite particles. The content of Ca IS 50-5000 ppm based on total amount of hydrotalcite particles. The hydrotalcite particles are measured by laser diffraction scattering method. A coating agent is selected from the group consisting of fatty acid, fatty acid salt, alipathic ester, phosphoric ester, metal alkoxide, styrene/maleic acid anhydride copolymer, and coupling agent.
