The arrangement has a connection node connected with a bridge point of an inverter bridge section between two coils (L1, L2). A semiconductor switch (T2) e.g. MOSFET and insulated gate bipolar transistor, comprises a series circuit and other two coils (L3, L4) and is switched in series. The latter coils are magnetically coupled, form a transformer, and are formed as windings on a common core. The switch is supplied with another series circuit from a unipolar voltage source. The connection node is connected with the bridge point of the inverter bridge section between the latter coils. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an inverter bridge section arrangement.
