<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both of outstanding appearance like a coated paper for offset printing and outstanding ink jet aptitude in an ink jet recording paper of a type in which an ink fixing agent is supplied to a recording paper before or after printing or both of the before and after, and to provide an ink jet recording paper which is particularly superior in the coating layer strength of a printing part immediately after printing. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording paper has a coating layer which mainly contains a pigment and an adhesive at least on one side of a support, wherein the coating layer includes: at least 60 pts.mass of calcium carbonate based on 100 pts.mass of the total pigment solid content of a coating layer as the pigment; and 3-10 pts.mass of synthetic rubber latex as the adhesive, and further includes the total 3-10 pts.mass of either one or both of denaturation starch and polyvinyl alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
