<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system for leveling power by utilizing a storage battery and preventing quality deterioration of power supplied from a power plant of a power company. <P>SOLUTION: The power storage system includes a generator means for generating power by utilizing natural energy (such as solar light or solar heat), a power storage means for storing a part of power if the amount of power of the generator means is larger than the amount of power consumed by a load, and discharging the stored power if the amount of power generated by the generator means is lower than the amount of power consumed by a load to be connected, an inverter for converting a DC power from an input terminal into an AC power consumable by the load, and a switching means for disconnecting the power storage means from the input terminal of the inverter and connecting the power generator means to the input terminal of the inverter if the power storage means is fully charged and the amount of power generated by the generator means is larger than the amount of power consumed by the load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
