摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode assembly which is chemically and mechanically stable under a use condition as a fuel cell and a hydrogen generation device and is applicable suitably for a medium temperature type fuel cell, and its manufacturing method, and a fuel battery cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane electrode assembly (11) used in the fuel battery cell (10) has a hydrogen permeable metal foil (12) with a thickness of 1 &mu;m or more and having self-supporting performance and an amorphous inorganic solid electrolyte membrane (13) having hydrogen ion conductivity, and is manufactured by a method which has, for example, a process to prepare a reaction liquid containing a precursor of a solid electrolyte membrane and a process in which the reaction liquid is coated on the surface of the hydrogen permeable metal foil, and the precursor is reacted while heat treating at 100-600&deg;C and the inorganic solid electrolyte membrane (13) is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
