<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shortage of hot water caused by increase in intermediate temperature water accompanying warming of bathtub water. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type water heater includes: a heat pump type heating means 19 for heating hot water within a hot water storage tank 1; a bath heat exchanger 13 for heating bathtub water by using hot water within the hot water storage tank 1 as a heat source; a lower temperature sensor 28e detecting a temperature of hot water in a lower part of the hot water storage tank 1; a boiling stop control means 36 stopping boiling operation by the heat pump type heating means 19 when a temperature detected by the lower temperature sensor 28e reaches a predetermined boiling stop temperature; and a storage means 35 storing whether or not warming of bathtub water is performed. Based on the storage details by the storage means 35, when the bathtub water is warmed, the boiling stop control means 36 sets the predetermined boiling stop temperature higher than that when the bathtub water is not warmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
