<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in the efficiency of an image output apparatus capable of displaying preview. <P>SOLUTION: A composite machine 50 is an image output apparatus that executes a job of printing (outputting) an image and displays a preview of the image on a display section 57a prior to printing.
