<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent service and a system from being fraudulently utilized by a third party. <P>SOLUTION: An authentication device performs user authentication by determining whether or not speech based on a speech signal of which the input is received and prestored speech are uttered by the same person. The authentication device stores an ID for uniquely identifies a user, and a plurality of speech data generated for each of a plurality of words which are uttered by the user in association with each other, and stores each of the plurality of speech data and a plurality of intrinsic information pieces which are intrinsic information for each ID in association with each other, and when receiving the ID from a terminal, the authentication device transmits specifying information for specifying any of the plurality of intrinsic information pieces of the received ID to the terminal. Then, when receiving the speech signal transmitted from the terminal, the authentication device compares a characteristic of the speech signal obtained by converting speech data corresponding to the intrinsic information specified by the specified information with a characteristic of the received speech signal to thereby determine whether or not the speech is uttered by the same person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
