<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deviation (escape) of an airbag to the outside of a vehicle width direction when the airbag receives a pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag module is arranged in a front side door 110. A door mirror device 138 is arranged on an upper part front end side of the front side door 110. In the door mirror device 138, a shaft is not vertical and is inclined to the outside of the vehicle width direction, and a door mirror main body part 142 is extended to the outside of the vehicle width direction when used and is folded along a front pillar 108 when stored. When a collision with the pedestrian is predicted by a precrash sensor, a driving motor is driven by an airbag ECU and the door mirror main body part 142 is forcibly moved to a storage position. As a result, when the airbag 130 is going to move to the outside of the vehicle width direction when the pedestrian is received by the airbag 130, the airbag 130 is supported by the door mirror main body part 142 from the outside and is prevented from deviating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
