PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device of sound data relevant information, capable of sufficiently retrieving relevant information relating to a sound data which are registered in a sound data base, by using sound data such as musical pieces. SOLUTION: The relevant information relating to original sound data is registered together with a registration feature word which is a feature word in which a feature of each original sound data is expressed, in the sound data base 50. A determination threshold is set by registration feature word. A feature word creating means 60 performs prescribed processing on held retrieval sound data, and creates a retrieval feature word which is the feature word for expressing the feature. A feature word collating means 70 collates the retrieval feature word and a registered feature word in the sound data base 50, and when a difference level satisfies prescribed condition using the determination threshold which is set by registration feature word, the relevant information relating to the original sound data which are registered by relating them to the registration feature word is extracted.
