PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste straw treating device for a combine harvester, which distributes cut straw supplied from the cutting part into ones to be fallingly discharged downward and ones to be widely diffusingly discharged left side so as to uniformly and diffusingly discharge the plant foot side cut straw on the ground after reaping and at the machine body rear side. SOLUTION: There is provided a waste straw treating device for a combine harvester, which cuts threshed waste straw with a cutting part 27 of a cutter 8 and horizontally transfers the cut straw to diffusingly discharge with a cut straw discharging body 36 set at the lower side of the cutting part 27 and having a root side screw blade 42 and an ear side screw blade 41, wherein a rejecting body 47 is set on a diffusing rotation shaft 40 of the cut straw distributing device 36 and near the transfer terminal end side of the root side screw blade 42, the rejecting body 47 is formed to be platy and attached to the diffusing rotation shaft 40 with a diffusing attaching angle to reject the cut straw to the left side and over almost a half of the periphery of the diffusing rotating shaft 40 on the side view.
