PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling output of an output section without accompanying shock during machining operation, in a hand-held type power tool. SOLUTION: The power tool includes: a motor 111; the output section 117 driven to rotate by the motor 111; and output varying means 145, 151, 161, 171 steplessly varying the output of the output section while normally driving the motor 111.
