PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methacrylic resin having colorless transparency, high fluidity of a molten resin, high impact resistance, solvent resistance, and low content of an aggregate, as well as a small repose angle of a resin particle. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a methacrylic resin containing 80-99.5 mass% of a methyl methacrylate monomer unit and 0.5-20 mass% of another vinyl monomer unit which is copolymerizable with at least one methacrylic acid ester, which resin satisfies the following conditions (I) to (III): (I) A weight-average molecular weight determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is 60,000-300,000; (II) A component having a molecular weight of not more than 1/5 the peak molecular weight (Mp) obtained from the GPC elution curve is contained in an amount of 7-40% as an area ratio obtained from the GPC elution curve; (III) A repose angle is 20-40°.
