<p>Disclosed is a non-contact power transmission system, wherein frequency control of alternating current power on the power transmitting side, corresponding to the distance between antennas, is eliminated, and a high transmission efficiency can be maintained. Also disclosed is a non-contact power transmission apparatus. The non-contact power transmission system is provided with a power receiving- side antenna, a power transmitting-side antenna, an alternating current power driver, a matching circuit, and a control circuit. The power receiving-side antenna is mounted on an apparatus, and receives power by electromagnetic coupling. The power transmitting-side antenna transmits power to the power receiving-side antenna by electromagnetic coupling. The alternating current power driver converts power received from a power supply into alternating current power, which can be transmitted from the power transmitting-side antenna to the power receiving-side antenna. The matching circuit is provided between the alternating current power driver and the power transmitting-side antenna, and is capable of adjusting the impedance of a transmission path. The control circuit, which controls the alternating current power driver and the matching circuit, performs impedance matching by controlling the matching circuit, in a state wherein the alternating current power driver is controlled such that the frequency of the alternating current power is equal to the resonance frequency of the power transmitting-side antenna.</p> |
