摘要 <p>Disclosed is an extrusion method that is capable of extrusion by means of an extrusion die that can improve oxidation resistance while maintaining the excellent performance of a titanium sintered body. Specifically disclosed is an extrusion method that extrudes an extrusion material (F) through the extrusion hole (33) of a main die body (31). For the main die body (31), a die is prepared that is formed from a surface-coated cermet member (1) having a cermet base material (11) that is formed from a sintered body using, as the main component, the hard phase of at least one titanium compound from among titanium carbide, titanium nitride, and titanium carbonitride, and an oxidation resistant film (12) that is disposed upon a section of the cermet base material (11) corresponding to at least the inner surface of the extrusion hole and formed from a complex oxide comprising titanium. Before initiating extrusion, the extrusion die (3) is preheated to a temperature of 420 to 520°C.</p>
