<p>Provided is a cooling structure of a stator which is capable of distributing a refrigerant at desired distribution proportions with respect to a plurality of refrigerant discharge openings. The cooling structure of a state is provided with a refrigerant distribution member (4), in which a refrigerant distribution channel is formed, in an upper area relative to a refrigerant supply target part of a coil end unit (3). The refrigerant distribution member (4) is provided with at least one refrigerant distribution chamber (70) for causing the refrigerant distribution channel to branch and a plurality of refrigerant discharge chambers (80) in each of which a refrigerant discharge opening (60) is formed. The refrigerant distribution channels are formed so as not to merge after the branching from the refrigerant distribution chamber (70). A plurality of inter-chamber communication channels (50) for communicating with different downstream chambers, which are formed at partition walls that surround one refrigerant distribution chamber (70), has bottom surface portions, the heights of which are equal to each other. The ratio of widths of openings of the different inter-chamber communication channels (50) is set in accordance with the ratio of the sum of opening cross-sectional areas of all the refrigerant discharge openings (60) on the downstream side of the inter-chamber communication channels (50).</p> |
