<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy selection of desired image information out of stored image information in a terminal with a display function such as a cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: In a first display state, one file is selected from a list of a reduced image M5, and then, when a switching operation to a second display state is performed, a display control part 110 executes a comparison screen mode. That is, the display control part 110 sends image signals of intermediate images M7, M8 and M9 corresponding to the selected file and files before and after the selected file to a liquid crystal display unit 500 so that the intermediate images M7, M8, and M9 are displayed in a second display portion 21.
