PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-sharing device capable of recognizing timing at which a writer starts writing in a remote location, and reducing a sense of incongruence on communication, and to provide an information sharing method thereof and a program. SOLUTION: A whiteboard 1B on a remote terminal side for receiving drawing data supplied from a whiteboard 1A on own terminal side to display drawing information, based on the drawing data includes: a drawing output section for displaying drawing information on a screen; a drawing data receiving section for receiving the drawing data supplied from the whiteboard 1A on own terminal side; and a drawing processing section for displaying, on the drawing output section along with the drawing information; a suggestion figure 102, showing that drawing is performed on the whiteboard 1A on own terminal side, when displaying the drawing information, based on the received drawing data on the drawing output section.
