PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element that a light resistance and controls a chromaticity change due to outdoor daylight. SOLUTION: The organic EL element is formed by laminating an organic layer 5, containing at least light-emitting layers 5b and 4c, between a translucent first electrode 2 and second electrode 6, wherein a light absorption agent 5g for absorbing specific wavelength light causing the deterioration of the organic layer 5 is included in a layer 5a formed between a first electrode 2 and the light-emitting layers 5b and 5c in the organic layer 5. The light absorption agent 5g absorbs light with a wavelength of at least 350 to 390 nm. The layer 5a in which the light absorption agent 5g is included consists of a hole-transporting material 5f, and its glass transition temperature is 100°C or more. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
