PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire molding method which can simply improve production efficiency in a green tire molding process and a tire molding apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The tire molding method for molding the green tire by forming a reinforcing body by winding a strip member around a rotating molding drum includes a winding process for winding the continuous strip member 1 conveyed from a material supply part A onto a small-sized reel 20, a cutting process for cutting the strip member 1 which is wound in the length to be used for one tire, and a rewinding process for rewinding the strip member 1 around the molding drum 30 from the small-sized reel 20 transferred onto the molding drum 30.
