<p>An identification machine (40, 90), which is provided separately to a currency change machine (20, 70), is connected to a pneumatic tube (14). The identification machine (40, 90) has: an identification unit (46, 96) which identifies bank notes and coins which are inserted therein; and a storage mechanism (48, 98) which stores the bank notes and coins identified by the identification unit (46, 96) in a pneumatic tube storage member (16) which is to be conveyed by the pneumatic tube (14). A control unit (60, 100) calculates the amount of bank notes and coins inserted by aggregating the information relating to the bank notes and coins stored in the currency change machine (20, 70) and the information relating to the bank note identification result from the identification unit (46, 96) of the identification machine (40, 90).</p> |
