<p>The present invention provides a method, an apparatus, a terminal and a base station for terminal speed estimation. The method is applied in wireless communication system, which includes: respectively recording channel impulse response estimation data of neighboring time slots; calculating the correlation value of the channel impulse response estimation data of the neighboring time slots at the same sampling position; comparing the calculated correlation value with the correlation value thresholds set in the table in which the correspondence of the correlation value of the channel impulse response estimation data of the neighboring time slots and the terminal moving speed is prestored; and estimating the current speed of the terminal. With the present invention, the calculation complexity can be reduced greatly, and meanwhile the accuracy of the terminal speed estimation result is guaranteed.</p> |
