<p>An image processing device mounted in a vehicle is provided with an image acquisition means, an image selection means, a first luminance adjustment means, a synthetic image generation means, and an image provision means. The image acquisition means acquires a plurality of camera images from a plurality of cameras provided on the vehicle. The image selection means selects one image as a representative image from among the plurality of camera images on the basis of the luminances of the plurality of camera images. The first luminance adjustment means adjusts the luminance of at least one of the other camera images on the basis of the luminance of the representative image. The synthetic image generation means generates a synthetic image showing the periphery of the vehicle on the basis of the representative image and the other camera images the luminance of at least one of which is adjusted by the first luminance adjustment means. The image provision means outputs information corresponding to the synthetic image to a display device mounted in the vehicle.</p> |
