SOUND SOURCE LOCATING METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREOF

A sound source locating method and an apparatus thereof are provided. The method includes: collecting a sound source time-domain signal(101); converting the time-domain signal into a frequency-domain signal(102); determining the spatial power spectrum of the frequency according to the frequency-domain signal(103); determining the spatial power probability distribution of the frequency according to the spatial power spectrum(104); and determining the spatial location with the maximum probability according to the spatial power probability distribution, and the spatial location with the maximum probability is regarded as a sound source location(105). The apparatus includes: a collecting unit(201) for collecting the sound source time-domain signal; a converting unit(202) for converting the time-domain signal into the frequency-domain signal; a power determining unit(203) for determining the spatial power spectrum of the frequency according to the frequency-domain signal; a probability determining unit(204) for determining the spatial power probability distribution of the frequency according to the spatial power spectrum; and a locating unit(205) for determining the spatial location with the maximum probability according to the spatial power probability distribution. The sound source is determined by adopting the probability distribution of the spatial power, thus improving the locating accuracy of the sound source array under the circumstance of noise and reverberation.
