<p>Disclosed is a green socket capable of performing a standby power blocking function in a more reliable manner. The green socket can supply electric energy to one or more external load devices. The green socket comprises: a hall sensor which receives an input current, and outputs an output voltage corresponding to the size of the input current; an amplifier which outputs an amplification voltage created by amplifying the output voltage; and a CPU which determines a current value corresponding to the size of the input current from a digital value of an amplification signal if the amplification voltage is smaller than a reference voltage, compares the size of a set minimum value with the determined current value, and outputs a blocking signal for blocking the supply of the electric energy if the determined current value is smaller than the set minimum value.</p> |
