PURPOSE: A semiconductor memory device is provided to reduce the number of a data input/output line by improving input/output structure. CONSTITUTION: In a semiconductor memory device, first data input output bus transmits the data of a first memory bank. A second data input output bus transmits the data of the first memory bank. A first data output unit(100) aligns data transmitted from a first data input/output line and outputs it according to an input/output mode A second data output unit(200) aligns data transmitted from a first data input/output line and outputs it according to an input/output mode.
