<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience after performing management or suppression in CO<SB>2</SB>emission with respect to the upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission in an image forming apparatus under a network environment. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus acquires information which is converted into the CO<SB>2</SB>emission from power consumption with respect to a print job output, tabulates the CO<SB>2</SB>emission by each print job output, and stores the upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission in a specified period (S101). The apparatus compares the tabulation result of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission with the stored upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission so as to determine whether the result exceeds the upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission or not (S105). A management device receives notification from the image forming apparatus exceeding the upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission so as to retrieve print-substitutable image forming apparatus information (S108), and outputs a print job which is not outputted yet to the image forming apparatus determined based on the retrieval result when one of the image forming apparatuses exceeds the upper limit value of the CO<SB>2</SB>emission (S109, S110). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
