<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system capable of smoothly switching to an auxiliary water heater when an amount of hot water stored in a hot water storage tank is lowered. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water supply system A includes the hot water storage tank 1, a main water heater 2 having a heat pump, the auxiliary water heater 3 having a heating source different from that of the main water heater 2, and a control board 4. The hot water is supplied from the hot water storage tank 1 until an amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank 1 becomes less than a boiling-up start hot water amount.
