<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission module and a housing achieving downsizing of a plug (optical circuit module). <P>SOLUTION: The plug 12 is disposed on one end of an optical fiber 100 and has a light-receiving element optically connected with the optical fiber 100. The circuit module 14 has a circuit element for driving the light-receiving element.
