<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle with excellent working efficiency in charging while suppressing power consumption of a battery in a vehicle chargeable from an external power source using a charging cable. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle capable of charging an on-board storage device 110 with electrical power transmitted from an external power source 500 via a charging cable 400, includes an inlet 210 connecting a charging connector 410, and an illuminating device 230 provided in the vicinity of the inlet 210. The inlet 210 is provided around a fitting part 73 to which the charging connector 410 is connected, for storing light emitted from the illuminating device 230.
