<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scrubber-less operation method in a metal strip cleaning process in which CVJ pressure and the concentration of an electrolytic-cleaning additive are stably maintained and sufficient degreasing cleaning effect can be stably obtained to improve the degreasing cleaning effect while adopting a scrubber-less operation technique for evading brush marks. <P>SOLUTION: The scrubber-less operation method in a metal strip cleaning process includes: a chemical cleaning step of immersing a metal strip into an alkali aqueous solution in a short period of time and performing degreasing; an electrolytic cleaning step of separating particle metal powder and oil by electrolysis after the chemical cleaning step; and a CVJ step of jetting warm water dissolved with air under pressure to the metal strip to clean the surface of the metal strip after the electrolytic cleaning step. The concentration of the electrolytic-cleaning additive used in each step of the chemical cleaning and the electrolytic cleaning and the pressure of the CVJ jetted from the spray nozzle in the CVJ step is more than a value prescribed by formula; Y=7.8/(X<SP>2</SP>-1.86)+77.8 [wherein Y represents the CVJ pressure (kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>), and X represents the concentration (g/l) of the electrolytic-cleaning additive]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
