PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leak of ink even in the event of breakage of a valve. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge includes an ink bag; and an ink outlet pipe 43 having an ink passage 43a communicating with the ink bag. A first valve 50 and a second valve 60 are provided in the ink outlet pipe 43. The first valve 50 has an elastically deformable sealing element 51 which seals an opening of the ink passage 43a. The second valve 60 has a valve seat 61, a valve member 62 which contacts with the valve seat 61 to thereby interrupt the ink passage 43a, and a coil spring 63 which biases the valve member 62 toward the valve seat 61 and the sealing element 51.
