A method, a device and a base station for estimating communication quality are disclosed, and the method involves acquiring the number or the proportion of the error data signals in the data signals with different importance in predetermined time; confirming the weighted error rate using the number or the proportion of the error data signals in the data signals of different importance and the weighted coefficient corresponding to the importance of the data signals, wherein the more the importance of the data signal is, the bigger the value of the weighted coefficient corresponding to the importance of the data signals is; and estimating the communication quality of the data signals according to the original mean opinion score, the estimated coefficient of at least one estimator and the weighted error. The influence brought by the error of data signals with the different degrees of importance to the communication quality of the data signals can be embodied, and the communication quality of the data signals can be precisely estimated.
