<p>Disclosed is an absorbent article which upon opening allows a wing release member and winglike flaps to be smoothly unfolded without resistance when an individual packaging member and a release member are separated from a sanitary napkin, and allows the release member to be easily separated from the absorbent article. When the product is in an individually packaged state, an adhesive layer (10) for preventing slippage, which is formed on each winglike flap (W), is covered by a wing release member (12) which extends across the adhesive layers in the lateral direction, the winglike flaps (W) and the wing release member (12) are folded onto the side of a liquid-permeable front surface sheet (3), and an individual packaging member (16) is attached to at least the wing release member (12). The attachment between the wing release member (12) and the individual packaging member (16) is formed so as to include a part of the vicinity of the folding line (RL) of each winglike flap (W), and the individual packaging member (16) and the wing release member (12) are attached by a first attachment region (20) which is formed so as to extend over the front end of the folding line (RL) for each winglike flap (W) in the anteroposterior direction from an anterior base point (P).</p> |
