<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotary grinding tool excellent in silencing characteristic with a suppressed noise during grinding. <P>SOLUTION: At least part of the surface of a metal disk 2 has a grinding surface 9 where hard particles 8 with a Mohs hardness of more than 9 are joined by brazing so that the surface density is 20 parts/cm<SP>2</SP>or more. A holder supporting the metal disk has, at the center portion thereof, an installation portion to be attached to a rotation shaft of the rotation driving device.
